By Yay – the day had finally arrived. The day we were leaving. And what a day…!
The days before leaving we made the apartment ready for someone else to move in. It was a bit confusing for Carla, and she was asking many questions about who will stay in our home while we are away. While riding the metro she even said “Mom, all these people cannot sleep on our couch, can they…?” Well, no… 🙂
But after all the hard work, and mainly the anticipation of the trip, it was truly amazing to finally be in the airport!
BTW Søren’s bag actually ended up so heavy that he could barely wear it – so much for a 100 liter back pack when you also need to carry it afterwards 😉
But now it’s all about living life to the fullest for the next 4 months! First stop is Boston, US.
